Spicy Cabbage Slaw

 Spicy Cabbage Slaw

Cut radishes add a peppery kick to this 10-minute slaw, which can act as both a side and a fixing for sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage with carrot (coleslaw mix)
  • ¾ cup very thinly sliced radishes
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced (1/2 cup)
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

step1

Throw coleslaw blend, radishes and scallions in a huge bowl. Whisk vinegar, oil, sesame seeds, lime juice, squashed red pepper and salt in a little bowl. Refrigerate the slaw blend and dressing independently until required.

step2

As long as four hours prior to serving, pour the dressing over the slaw and throw to cover. Move to an impenetrable holder and chill until not long prior to serving (see Tip).

Tips

Tip: In the event that you will not be serving the slaw in somewhere around 4 hours of venturing out from home, carry the cabbage combination and dressing in discrete holders in the cooler. Join and throw to cover prior to serving
